Grooveset is an NYC-based band I helped start that I play bass in. We’re a 7 piece band that performs high energy covers of songs from video games such as Mario, Sonic, and even Marvel vs Capcom!
LAZY SHELL
I help record another video game music band as their tracking and mixing engineer. Lazy Shell is a 6 piece band composed of good friends of mine that recently recorded and released a video game themed holiday album in December 2025.

Hello!
My name is William Bertiz, but I usually just go by Will. I am a freelance sound designer, audio engineer, and musician based in NYC.
I spend my time working with audio for music, films, and video games. My work consists of recording, mixing, composing, and sound designing for various projects.
In my free time, I play bass, guitar, piano, and sometimes even sing for various artists in the NYC and Long Island areas.
